We require a minimum of 3 days advance notice to place orders for cakes, tarts, and cookies. Cake, tart, and cookie orders can be picked up after 11:00 a.m. everyday except Monday. Please note that larger orders and special orders require at least 5 days advance notice.
Pastry items can be ordered 3 days ahead of time. Pastry items can be picked after 8:00 a.m. Tuesday - Friday, after 8:30 a.m. Saturday, and after 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
Bread can be reserved the same day for pick up after 5:00 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.
To inquire about placing an order please call 415.487.2600 and leave a message stating the item you are interested in, the day, date, and time you would like to pick up, your name and phone number. Someone will get back to you within approximately 24 hours.
Please note that we do not take advance orders for hot pressed sandwiches, croque monsieur, dry meusli, and bread pudding.
Minimum Order Requirements
Any size cake that is currently in season.
Tarts, size 9" and up, or 6 of each kind of the 4" tarts (i.e., 1 - 9" Banana Cream Tart or 6 - 4" Banana Cream Tarts)
6 of each type of pastry items (i.e., 6 morning buns, 6 croissants)
2 dozen of each type of cookie (i.e., 2 dozen macaroons, 2 dozen shortbread)
Whole quiche
We have a full selection of cakes, tarts, pastry items and cookies available in the cafe daily.
